Terracotta Warriors - Exhibition at Asian Civilisation Museum Singapore

Image
The Terracotta Warriors exhibition at the Asian Civisalisation Museum (ACM) Singapore was great. The exhibition showed the famed Terracotta Warriors from Shanxi China. Totally enjoyed the experience standing in front of the warriors. The warriors' faces were all in the state of war and even the one horse on exhibit looked aggressive.

Image
Had a nice hamburger meat with baked rice set at Fruit Paradise outlet at Plaza Singapura. The baked rice was nice and can top up with their signature Fruit Tart (had mango and strawberry tart). Very nice meal. I like the deco of the Fruit Paradise outlet - comfortable place to have a meal. The fruit tarts looks great and yummy!

Wheat Baumkuchen at Toa Payoh

Image
There is new eating place named Wheat Baumkuchen at Toa Payoh Blk 190 Lorong 6 (near to Toa Payoh Hub Singapore). The place serves great Japanese Noodles like soba and have the signature German Baumkuchen cake. The noodles are unique and healthy, and dishes comes in cute names like Polar Bear, Reindeer, Whale, Dolphin, Penguin, Seal, all strange names for noodle dishes. I love the food and their signature cake which have many flavours like apple, matcha, chocolate.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Movie Part 2 (The final end)

Image
Yup, Harry Potter final movie is over. Going to miss the Harry Potter series. I always wonder how JK Rowling could be so imaginative to come up with such a series on magic and wizards? I like the final movie for it got many fighting scenes and scary moments. Everything seems to fall into place over the many years I have read the Potter books and saw the movie series. Good Bye Potter and Mr Who Cannot be Name.

Cedele Cafe (Railway Mall)

Image
Had a nice meal at Cedele Cafe located in Railway Mall. Food was chicken salad with nice salad dressings, roast chicken, walnuts and nice vegetables. The best was the handmade Cedele Beef Burger. The Beef Burger was great! Had chocolate truffle cake and 'hot addiction' hot chocolate drink . There is a free flow of nice bread with the main course. The cafe is very nice with people eating in and chit chatting. Nice ambience. All Very Nice!

Memories at Old Ford Factory

Image
The visit to the Old Ford Factory Museum located at Bukit Timah Road was interesting. The place showcases the period when Japan occupied Singapore in the 1940s. The Old Ford factory is an important landmark in Singapore, most remembered as the site where the British surrendered Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942. The place used to be a Ford Car factory, now restored by the National Archives of Singapore, it houses a World War II exhibition gallery.
