Laksania at Nex Mall

Mrupupup attended Laksania's talk by their boss. Laksania serves very nice Laksa which is a spicy noodle dish. Laksania located at the Nex Mall (#B1-08) serves Kelantan laksa, Singapore Laksa, Penang Laksa and Sarawak Laksa. Laksania is a social entreprise store and it is a sister company of the famous Secret Receipe. Their Boss of Laksania shared the difficulties of setting up this store to help the less fortunate people in society via gainful employment in Laksania. Social Entreprise in Singapore is not easy and only business people with the toughest minds chart out their paths and are determine to help the less fortunate in society. The food in Laksania was good and Mrupupup tried their Sarawak Laksa which was spicy, yummy and comes with chicken meat. Laksania also serves Laksa Goreng (fried noodles with laksa sauce), laksa satay, various desserts and many laksa types of food. All the food items are nice and served by very friendly staff, some of whom do face challenges in life. Check out their notice board where many famous personalties have patronised Laksania. Final note, Laksania means Laksa 'Nia' in Hokkien language means Laksa Only!

Baker Talent - Very new bakery!

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

Trip to Seoul - Incheon Airport food court

Mrupupup went to Seoul, South Korea. It was a great trip. I loved Seoul after since the K-wave swept through our TV screens. Many things to see in South Korea. Here goes the trip day 1. Landed in Seoul transit via Kuala Lumpur. The airport in Seoul is pretty clean place. You can check out the eating place 'Food on Air' that serves decent Korean food at good prices. Go to the basement level of the arrival hall of the airport. The basement food court of Incheon Airport served a nice set of dumplings and bibimbap for late breakfast or lunch. Pretty nice and hot food after a long flight.
