Lee Ta Fried Carrot Cake

Lee Ta Fried Carrot Cake. 210 Lorong 8 Toa Payoh #01-67. A place whereby Mrupupup goes for fried carrot cake for weekend mornings and only black 'colour fried carrot cake (fried with black soya sauce). The uncle would politely inform you that he would not cook the 'white' version of the carrot cake. This store's carrot cake tasted pretty nice every time Mrupupup orders from the store. Fried carrot cake is a local breakfast favorite. Fried Carrot Cake is made with steamed rice flour and white radish, fried with egg and garnished with spring onions & garlic. Mrupupup found it interesting that the store's auntie would use a squash or badminton racquet to make small pieces of carrot cake out of a large piece of carrot cake for the uncle to fry, pretty smart idea! Anyway, the carrot cake (3 pricing - $2/$2.50/$3) would be better if served with a bit of chilli! Yummys!
