Star Gazing @ The Observatory

Image
On every Friday between 8pm-10pm in the Singapore Science Centre, the Observatory would be open for the public to gaze at stars and planets in the sky. The Obervatory is a big telescope and it would open out to the sky to see planets in our solar system. There would be other types of telescopes, albeit smaller ones, which help to see the stars and moon up close. The stars would look like tiny diamonds on the telescope. Do try and visit the Science Centre for a star gazing experience.

Careshop de Cafe

Image
There is a new eating place named Careshop de Cafe which is located at 70 Bendemeer Road, Luzerne Building, which also has an 'Audio House' outlet there. The place is a really quiet and you can have a meal during the weekday evenings with minimal disturbances. We went there as a group of 4 and in the cafe there was only one other couple having a meal with white wine. We had baked rice pastas, spicy ramen bowl and japanese bento rice. I like the eating place's decorations which makes the cafe look happy.

15 Minutes @ Laselle College of the Arts

Image
Had a nice dinner experience at 15 Minutes which is a comfortable eating place located in Lasalle College of the Arts (McNally Street Singapore). The arts/music/design cafe place has a mixture of long wooden benches and tables which brought me back to memories of old school days of eating with friends in the tuckshop. '15 minutes' serves a wide variety of food. We had the chef's burger and 'pomodoro mushroom & nuts' penne pasta (taste unique and nice). The people in the cafe were all relax and having conversations through out the evening. Like this place because there a creative vibe which I totally appreciate. Nice, Nice! Quote from Andy Warhol (famous artist) "In the future, everybody will be world famous for 15 minutes". The cafe lives up to its name by allowing people to be famous for 15mins through creative arts like playing music at the cafe.
