DBS Marina Regatta Dragon Boat 2012 - Joyride

Image
DBS Marina Regatta Dragon Boat 2012 held from 4-6 May 2012 in the Marina Bay Waterfront area, Singapore. The international Dragon Boat race event sponsored by DBS Bank attracted about 100 teams to compete in various races and many teams are from overseas countries like Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Brunei and Indonesia. The Indonesians are all out to win as seen by the way they trained in the waters. As Mrupupup was invited by DBS Bank marketing department (thanks DBS!), I had an exclusive chance to preview the event and take nice photos. I would thank also the URA Marina Bay staff for arranging the Joyride in a Dragon Boat right to the middle of Marina Bay Waterfront area (near to Marina Bay Sands). I got one video to show how 'hard' we amateurs paddle in the short joyride (about 200 metres). The joyride was fun and 'risky' because Mrupupup kind of worried Dragon Boat would capsize. Haha! Nothing happen and we joyride the Dragon Boat with lots of splashes! Do vis

Mrupupup was invited to attend a Domino's Pizza Party at Kovan outlet along 943/945 Upper Serangoon Road (near to Punggol Nasi Lemak store and Rochor Bean Curd outlet). Thanks to Alvinology of OMY and Domino's staff, Mrupupup had a wonderful time to sample Domino's pizzas and side dishes. Had a great food experience with other bloggers. Do visit Domino's Pizza in their 13 branches in Singapore or order online via their website : http://www.dominos.com.sg/Default.aspx .  Domino's Pizza website is great as demonstrated by their Manager and has discounted rate for certain products via website orders, for example you can get their chocolate lava cake at 50% off. Kabe No Ana Japanese Pasta - Very Good

Image
Kabe No Ana Japanese Pasta at Nex Shopping Mall (Basement 1) is a place where I go to for nice 'Japanese style' pasta. The place sells fresh pasta with fresh ingredients. This outlet is a branch from their main store and many stores in Japan (which started in 1953). Well, with such a long history in their pasta making, the food looks and tastes good. Mrupupup had fried garlic prawns (nice), chicken salad (yummy chicken), prawns cream pasta (delicous) and salmon baked rice (yumms). Totally enjoyed their food and not too expensive. Check out the photographs.                  Japanese Pasta- cream sauce and prawns                              Garlic Prawns                                    Chicken with Salad                          Salmon Baked Rice
