Scoot Airline Very First Flight - 4 June 2012 (Singapore to Sydney)

Mrupupup was very fortunate to attend Scoot Airline's very first flight in operation on 4 June 2012. The flight was the very first and was from Singapore to Sydney, Australia. Mrupupup had complementary tickets on board their 'FlyBagEat' tier - a flight to Sydney on economy seats, 15kg luggage and a meal & drink on board. Scoot is a budget airline is which owned by Singapore Airlines and is using Boeing 777 to fly long hauls flight on budget rates. Going to Sydney from Singapore can be as low as $158 per person (with only cabin luggage). Well, as with most budget airlines things like food, drinks and blankets are chargable. For Scoot, they have on rental Ipads for your use if you are bored on flights lasting 6-8 hours (costs $22). Scoot is value for money for long haul flights to places like Sydney or Gold Coast if one is on a tight budget. Budget airlines like Scoot do have its contraints like no tv to watch and no drinks or food like normal airlines.

The inaugural (very first) flight was special , why you may ask:
a. First time Mrupupup sat on very first flight - an inaugural flight
b. Got special treatment like free blankets (costs $12)
c. Champagne drinks - cheers on the flight
d. Noose team  - Pornsak & Babarella on the flight to entertain us
e.Fire engine giving the Scoot plane a special salute using their water guns to spray water onto the plane as it touched down on Sydney Airport.

Mrupupup want to thank Scoot for sponsoring the airline tickets to Sydney!
