Heaven's Indian Curry Food Stall in Ghim Moh

Image
Mrupupup visited the Heaven's Indian Curry Food Stall in Ghim Moh Hawker Centre (stall 15). The place sells very nice masala thosai (soft type of pancake), appam (South Indian snack), vadai (fried snack) and putu mayam (another Indian snack). Heaven's Indian Curry makes the appam and masala thosai on the spot and it is fresh. The masala thosai is spicy and need to cool down with a nice cup of tea. Appam is very nice and soft and excellent with the brown sugar. If you want decent Indian food, you can go to Ghim Moh Hawker Centre and look this store. The store sells many types of thosai and other Indian food - not too expensive prices.

Singapore Food Trail @ Singapore Flyer

Image
Mrupupup loves to eat and a great fan of food courts/ hawkers. Well, there is a foodcourt dining concept at the Singapore Food Trail @ Singapore Flyer. The food area at the iconic Singapore Flyer brings back the nostalgic feel of the 1960s. There are many famous food stores at Singapore Food Trail and the place was packed on a Sunday. Mrupupup had oyster omelete (nice), Char Kway Teow ( fried noodles with black sauce) and cups of bird's nest drink (very expensive drink at $2.50). The price at Singapore Food Trail are not cheap, but reasonable since there are no other eating places that provide so many choices like sambal stingray, satay, pork noodles, hokkien mee (long queue!!! never get to try), BBQ seafood, carrot cake and even an Indian store that sells the traditional 'Kacang Puteh' nuts snack. Check out the photos and see you like to pay a visit to the Singapore Food Trail. Char Kway Teow Serving Bird's Nest Drink Bruce Lee poster Oyster Omelete Hopscotch ...

Prata Wala @ Nex Mall

Image
Went to the Prata Wala @ Nex Mall Singapore. Some reviews say the place is no good while other reviews say is good. For mrupupup, Prata Wala at Nex Mall satisfies my hunger for Indian food. I just like to eat! Ok, please do not follow me if you want to live longer, instead have an apple for your meals. Mrupupup had a chicken briyani which comes with papadum cracker and teh tehrik (tea with condensed milk)! Prata Wala also serves roti prata, thosai, naan (nice) and all sorts of curries! Yeah, briyani was nice with their spicy curry and tender chicken. Check out the pictures.                      Prata Wala outlet at Nex Mall                                   Food almost sold out     ...

Had a wonderful lunch at Tandoor North Indian Restaurant at Orchard City Holiday Inn Hotel. Think they serve excellent Indian food with tandoori chicken with naan, potatoes, vegetables, rice, curry fish. All very nice ! Delicious meal!

Roti Prata (Indian Pizza)

Image
Roti Prata is a favourite food in multi-cultural Singapore. I had mine at the famous Roti Prata store along Casuarina Road in the Thomson area. The photograph showed the spread of crispy roti prata: plain roti prata and egg roti prata with curry (shown on the left). There is also thosai - a type of Indian food with multiple curry dips (shown on the right). This type of Indian food is best enjoyed as breakfast after a morning trek in the Lower Pirece reservoir. All the Indian food would be accompanied by a hot cuppa of Tea 'Terek' - a type of milk tea. Enjoy!
