Mrupupup had a very good Brunch session with DJs from Power 98FM & 88.3Jia. The location was at Cornerstone restaurant at Bishan Park. The event was fun and the food was very yummy. Mrupupup had a sweet tooth and would say the desserts were good. Anyway, Mrupupup had close up chit chats with the very cool DJs - Jamie Yeo, Sonja, Mister Young & Jacqui, Robin & Kai Ying from 88.3Jia (who sat at our table - very nice & happy & friendly DJs- I like them), 丽娜 (Lina) & 家铭 (Jia Ming) in very cool biker outfits. Mrupupup also had good conversations with good fellows in the same table and was impressed by one couple who brought their mascot lions! Roar! Mrupupup wished to be a DJ - haha such fun time interacting with people. Mrupupup had great fun attending the Countdown Party at Marina Bay Area Singapore. Countdown TV50 concert was held to celebrate TV's 50 years of Singapore Television. Mrupupup enjoyed the concert with special TV actors like Phua Chua Kang, Cast from City Beat, Under one Roof and great boy band "the Wanted" from United Kingdom and of course Superstar Mr Wang Lee Hom (the most popular singer that night)! Mediacorp held the 5 hour showcase of TV 'live' celebrations, going through the best moments of television in Singapore. Great event, Mediacorp! The Countdown TV50 at the Marina Bay platform also showcased the most exciting fireworks Mrupupup had seen in Singapore - very nice and visually stunning fireworks matched with nice background music. Mrupupup took photos of the fireworks and the ever colourful 'wishing' balls in the Marina Bay area. Nice pictures and video below. Mrupupup attended the Gala Premiere of Ilo Ilo  爸妈不在家. Great acting from the cast and very honest portrayal of a family life in Singapore. Ilo Ilo won the the Cannes Award 2013 for Director Anthony Chen, the very first Cannes Award for Singapore. Mrupupup felt proud to watch the movie Ilo Ilo and Singapore has great talents! Good Job! This is what I call a gala premiere with the Singapore President gracing the occasion at Marina Bay Sands Theatres. The event also had many celebrities : Glenda Chong (TV news reader), Ivan Heng (Director for dramas/plays), Pierre Png (TV actor), Eunice Olsen (famous celebrity) and many more. Ok, enough names dropping, go watch the Ilo Ilo movie which opens in Singapore on 29 August 2013 and be surprise to see the Singapore in the 1980s and 1990s. Enjoy! Mrupupup got invited to a cooking contest using Tefal Actifry at Courts Ang Mo Kio. It was an interesting experience. Mrupupup did not know that there was a cooking equipment known as Tefal Actifry to help cook up a delicious dish. Mrupupup, as part of the Courts Ang Mo Kio cooking contest, came up with a nice chicken wings with mushrooms and broccoli dish. The cooking contest at Courts Ang Mo Kio was of a high standard with various Chinese, Western, Malay and Indian dishes, and the eventual winner came from a cooking school! How to win, Mrupupup? Nevermind, it was fun!             Tefal Actifry is a good cooking equipment and can cook so many type of dishes. Mrupupup was impressed with Tefal Actifry non-stick surface and hassle free way of cooking a dish. For the chicken wings, Mrupupup just put in the chicken wings, cooked mushroom & broccoli for about 20 mins and all was ready. Melvin from Funky Chef was the judge and he demonstrated the Tefal Actifry by cooking Kung Po Chicke

Andy Lau 刘 德 华  is a famous Hong Kong singer & movie star. Along with Sammi Cheng, these two movie stars were in Singapore. Mrupupup had a chance to take a photo with them. The two stars were in town to promote their latest Chinese movie "Blind Detective". Mrupupup loved watching Andy Lau in movies. When Mrupupup saw Andy Lau at Equarius Hotel @ Sentosa Resorts World, Mrupupup was awed by Andy Lau's presence. He's got charisma! Andy Lau is still so good looking for his age (50 plus). Wonderful experience but very quick photo taking session. Mrupupup was wary of the security surrounding Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng. Very fun experience! The highly anticipated Social Concert 2013 which was held in conjunction with the inaugural Social Star Awards took place at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore - 24 May 2013. Mrupupup had complimentary tickets to the Singapore Social Conert on the first night with stars like PSY, Carly-Rae Jepsen, CeeLo and all female music group Blush. The concert rockzzz! Mrupupup had a great taste of the  music. Mrupupup was of course waiting for PSY. The wait for PSY was worth it! Mr PSY sang 3 songs inclusive of his popular Oppa Gangnam Style and songs  - Champion and Mother, Father, Gentlemen. Pretty good! Mrupupup also experienced the music from Ceelo, Blush and Carly-Rae Jepsen. Mrupupup liked Carly-Rae Jepsen's music and loved her style. Singapore rockszzz!!!!!! She was hot ! Mrupupup was delighted to attend Anita Kapoor's TLC & SKII event over the weekend. Anita Kapoor is a wonderful TV host for Travel & Living Channel. The event was held in a 'hip' place known as Nektar located in colonial house at 31 Scotts Road. It was a great event to know more about Anita Kapoor. She was a great host and had lots of energy. She shared with us about her life as a TV host in the Travel and Living Channel. The event also had SKII hand massage, cocktails, and nice finger food. Great event and had fun!
