Alive Museum in Singapore

Image
Alive Museum is Singapore’s latest fun destination. Alive Museum is for all ages, especially fun for kids. Mrupupup recently visited the Alive Museum which help to present the concept of art into entertainment. The Alive Museum covers over 10,000 square feet with more than 80 artworks brought vibrantly alive with 3D painting, shading and drawing techniques that create visual illusions. Visitors will not only be able to experience magical ideas in reality by touching and watching objects, they will be part of the masterpiece, especially the Marilyn Monroe piece. So no need to go Jeju Island (in South Korea) to experience the Alive Museum. Mrupupup had been to the Jeju's outlet of Alive Museum before felt it was similar to the Alive Museum in Suntec City Mall. Mrupupup's experience of Alive Museum was fun and interesting. Mrupupup loved the ET movie art piece, Marilyn Monroe interactive art piece, Nelson Mendela 'jumping' art and many more. Approximate Duration of

Singapore Biennale 2013 enjoyable

Image
The Singapore Biennale 2013 will end soon by 16 February 2014. On 15 and 16 Feb 2014, the entrance is free to all art exhibitions of the Singapore Biennale 2013. Mrupupup really enjoyed the arts installations of the Singapore Biennale. Thanks to sponsor for the free ticket ($10 per entrance). Mrupupup wondered around the arts installations found at the Singapore Art Museum and the nearby 8Q @ SAM museum (Waterloo Street).  If you happen to go to see the Singapore Biennale and don't have much time to go to all the exhibits, go straight to Mrupupup's favourite of Japanese dancing animation on the third storey of Singapore Arts Museum. Mrupupup thought that this animation from Japan's teamLab with haunting music was the best arts installation for the Singapore Biennale. Go find "Peace can be realised even without order" - really good arts installation that was an intrigue to the senses and found a lasting imprint on Mrupupup's brain. Ok, enjoy the rest of the

Singapore Philatelic Museum

Image
Mrupupup visited the Singapore Philatelic Museum along the Hill Street area in Singapore (at 23 B Coleman Street). This museum stores all sorts of stamps used in Asia and Singapore. Mrupupup liked this museum for the place gives one a sense of history through viewing the stamps. Entry fee costs $5 for one to see all the history of stamps in Singapore and very valuable stamp collections. Currently, the museum is exhibiting a collection of stamps from Thailand. Do visit the Singapore Philatelic Museum, although it is in a small 19th century building, the stamps are worth taking a closer look.
