Nam Nam Noodle Bar (Vietnamese Food)

Image
Mrupupup was curious when there was a long queue outside Nam Nam Noodle Bar at the basement of the Raffles City Shopping Mall. Mrupupup waited for the chance to try the Nam Nam Noodle Bar Vietnamese food - a casual food bistro by Les Amis Group. Well, pretty nice food. Mrupupup liked the beef slices pho noodle soup (range $7-$9 for pho soups) and the pork belly bun (more like pork slices in a large crispy croissant bread). There were other type of buns/bread filled with beef, pork or chicken ($6- $9). Pretty good and the best part was there was no MSG in the beef pho noodle soup. Well, the place was crowded and the chairs & tables were packed very closely to each other. Mrupupup could hear many conversations of work life, people gossiping of colleagues & friends, complaining of our stressful 'mouse' like existence on this small island and some happy moments between lovers. Nam Nam Noodle Bar berry nice, burp! One last thing, do try their iced Vietnamese coffee ($2.50) ...

Wrap & Roll Vietnamese at Star Vista

Image
Wrap & Roll is a Vietnamese eating place. The outlet at Star Vista Mall (next to Buona Vista MRT) is their first outlet in Singapore. Wrap & Roll is very popular in Vietnam with many outlets. Mrupupup did tried the spring rolls from Wrap & Roll in Ho Chin Minh City. Mrupupup wanted to try their flagship outlet and ordered the spring rolls at their Star Vista outlet (B1-11). Mrupupup had fried spring rolls, steam spring rolls with chicken and beef spring rolls. All spring rolls were very nice and the order for three dishes of spring rolls came to about $30. You know Wrap & Roll spring rolls are good for even the Vietnamese were in the queue to enter the eating place. Mrupupup did wait for about 20mins to enter the restaurant. The spring roll dishes came with a refreshing drink. Ok, enjoy the food pictures! Mrupupup preferred the popiah skin (non fried version) spring rolls with their special sauces. Yummyssss!

Pho House @ Suntec City

Image
Mrupupup checked out the Pho House at Suntec City (next to Toys R Us outlet). Pho House serves Vietnamese food. The food was good. We had pork chop rice and beef pho soup with noodles. The Vietnamese food was light and taste different. We also had fried and rice paper spring ro lls i n the meal set which costs about $14-16 with iced coffee. The best thing about the meal set was the iced Vietnamese coffee which was thick and nice. Check out the photos below. Beef Pho Fried Spring Rolls Beef Pho with many vegetables Pork Chop Rice   Iced coffee with milk Spring rolls- Mrupupup's favourite - Taste nice

Enjoyed vietnamese food at Madam Saigon in Millenia Walk Singapore. Pretty reasonable pricing. Nice place and not noisy. Serves great vietnamese coffee too. Had 'pho' noodles with beef slices and beef balls and rice rolls. Very nice.
