Image
Mrupupup kind of late to introduce Soi 19 Thai Wanton Noodles. Think many people would have known of this wanton noodle store. Soi 19 awesome Thai wanton noodles was awesomely yummy. Every day this outlet got queue. The one Mrupupup tried was at Blk 151 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 and they got outlets in Jurong and a newer outlet at Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre. Mrupupup tried the noodles costing $5 with extra noodle and extra stuff/ingredients. Love this noodles why ? Springy noodles, lots of pig fat, good char siew, Taiwan sausages added to the noodles was the best part of the dish (always eat this last for Mrupupup!). One can order $4 and $6 versions. not sure why it is Thai style as Mrupupup never had Thai Wanton noodles in Bangkok during vacation and could not find any of such stores. Pretty yummy and good. Picture below of the $5 bowl.

Sakon Thai: Mango & Durian Sticky Rice dessert

Image
Sakon Thai Food place at Jalan Wangi served up a very nice sticky rice dessert. The durian and mango versions of the traditional Thai dessert were done well at this Sakon Thai Restaurant! Yummy and sweet. The durian version slightly better than mango version. Anyway, both very nice. Mrupupup took a picture of the sticky rice, have a look and enjoy the picture!

Sakon Thai Food - Very Hot & Spicy

Sakon Thai food is very nice and spicy. Sakon Thai outlet we went was at Jalan Wangi (in MacPherson estate). The outlet was quite quiet. The evening crowd only started coming to the Thai restaurant after 8.30pm. If you like hot and spicy food, Sakon Thai is the place to go. Mrupupup had Tom Yam seafood soup (clear and spicy version), basil chicken stir fried with chilli padi (those small chillis that's really spicy), pineapple rice, mango with sweet glutinous rice and avacodo & mango shakes. We ate the Thai food, at the same time we were also tearing because the Thai food was very spicy. Really enjoyed the spicy experience and would like to go again. The Thai food we ordered was nice, especially the pineapple rice! Enjoyed the photos! It was really hot, hot, hot! One more thing, the restaurant got nice decorations.
