Tried the Dessert Story shop for their Chinese desserts . Had the black sesame hot dessert and the mango pomelo child dessert. Had the nice desserts at the outlet located at Simon Road. Nice And Sweet stuff!

'Ang Ku Kueh' - traditional Singapore oval shaped cake. The name of the cake means in Hokkien language as 'Red Tortoise' Cake.  The shape of the cake looks like a tortoise shell. The Chinese used Ang Ku Kueh for religious offering, child birth and birthday. The cake is a steamed glutinous rice flour cake mix with mashed sweet potato and fill with bean paste filling or crushed roasted peanuts. Prefer the bean paste filling ones. Got this 'red tortoise' cake from a Nyonya shop in katong. The cake is readily available in many cake shops in Singapore.  Nice, Nice, Nice!

Had Dunkin Donuts bought from ION Orchard. Ooooo, so nice donuts! Ate up the smiley face donut - which is of banana flavour, strawberry filling donut and the bavarian donut made of sweet cream. So nice nice nice!

Most people would have an egg tart. To be different, I guess, Le Cafe has a bean curd (soya bean made) tart. I guess this bean curd tart is their signature dish. Super nice and yummy bean curd tart, really enjoyed it. Le Cafe got 3 branches, think the more famous branch is found along Middle Road area.

To those living in the asean region - here is the mee rebus noodles. This is a spicy Malay noodle dish. Had Mee Rebus with chin chow dessert (glass jelly sweeten). Very nice. Mee rebus stall can be found in the basement food court of Parkway Parade.

Awfully chocolate cake shop serves wonderful cakes and desserts. Finally, I got to eat their famous chocolate cake. The cake has a moist inner chocolate layer. Very nice.

Had the doriyaki handmade Japanese pancake from Nex Singapore. I always have the orignal azuki (black bean paste) flavour pancake. Doreamon also like Doriyaki.

Went to eat at the Break Through Cafe in Peoples' Park Centre Singapore (near Chinatown). It was a nice meal shared by 4 adults and 2 small kids. Break Through Cafe is run by a group of ex-convicts and back by a church missionary group. The ex-convicts serve out their rehab through working in the cafe. In the way, this helps to integrate the ex-convicts into mainstream society. The food served was good and service was fast. The cafe had many helpers that was why the food served to our table was quick. We had curry chicken, curry fish, pig legs in vinegar sauce, dim sum and various kinds of hot and cold desserts. Do go to the cafe to try out the food for I think its all for helping people and giving a second chance to ex-convicts. We noticed that even the top crime lawyer in Singapore visited the cafe for their food. Enjoyed the sweet tart and butter cake from Flor cake gallery shop at Duxton Hill Singapore. They got a wonderful selections of cakes and I think all made by a Japanese baker. Prices are cheaper compared to other Japanese cake shops.

XO Durian Chee Cheong Fun (Rice Rolls steamed) first time I tried it. Pretty nice. Like eating durian. Quite expensive at $5.20 per plate. If you like durian in varied forms, go visit the House of Rice Rolls and Porridge along Killiney Road Singapore.

Love the Seng Kee Hong Kong Dessert place at Nex Mall Singapore. Ate the red bean paste with rice balls filled with sesame paste (yums!) and tried the mango pomelo sago dessert (nice!).

Had nice 6 scoops Melionster Ice Creams. Got cookie dough (nice!), Fish Food (new taste), cherry garcia, chunky monkeys (banana taste).... forgot the other two flavours. On top of the ice cream got cookies, banana slices, nice almonds and chocolate sauce. Sweet! Share with 7 people. Its got nice waffle below to hold all the nice ice cream!
