Books Actually @ Yong Siak Street

Image
Books Actually is at Yong Siak Street ( in Tiong Bahrus Estate). Books Actually is a cool bookstore that serves a niche market for books, stationery and all things 'vintage'. Love this bookstore for it is an unique experience to browse and see all these 'vintage' stuff. Mrupupup just want you to see Books Actually in pictures. Great fun and good way to spend your weekend at a local bookstore.                             Front Door - Books Actually                                        Lots of Browsing to do                                                 Nice Postcards                                                Pencils anybody?                                               Vintage Rocking Chair                                        All things - Vintage                                       Favourite Vintage A &W Bear                                        Vintage Bottles                                More Vintage Bottles-Where is 7

Tiong Bahru estate - Instagram takes

Image
Mrupupup loves to take pictures as you can see in the various blog posts. Well, Tiong Bahru estate is good for taking photos as the buildings are unique in deisgn and the estate exudes a certain 'old world' charm not found anywhere else in Singapore. This time round Tiong Bahru estate was taken using the instagram app in the mobile phone. Enjoy. Sengkang Riverside Park- nice place for Photography

Image
Sengkang Riverside Park is a nice place for photography. Sengkang Riverside Park located at Anchorvale Street and along Sungei Punggol. The park is not crowded and one can do a decent jog around the place. The park is interesting because of the unique sculptures and man-made wetland for birds. Go fly kite, go walk walk, cycle or maybe grab a bite at the mushroom cafe (run by the people who operates Old Chang Kee puffs). Enjoy the pictures. Photographs - Chinese and Japanese Gardens Singapore

Image
Mrupupup never got a chance to visit the Chinese and Japanese Gardens in Singapore for many years. Well, took a trip down to the massive Chinese and Japanese Gardens in Jurong. The Chinese Gardens had a tall tower and many statues surrounding it. The Japanese Gardens was nice and had many red bridges just like in Japan. The Gardens are good for a evening stroll or jog. Nice place. If you want to go the Chinese and Japanese Gardens (the two gardens are next to each other), just take the MRT train to Lakeside station, which is in the western part of Singapore. Enjoy the photographs.
