Mrupupup had an interesting day at the Jurong Regional Library. Why? Because May the Four (Force) be with you event was held at Jurong Library to help remember the good times Star Wars Movies had on the generation of adults. The event was great with Dark Lord (Darth Vader), Storm Troopers, Jedi Knights and Imperial Soldiers gracing the event. The Library also had space to showcase the Star Wars toys, had a special screening of the making of Kenner Star Wars toys, Helmets designed by artists and great photo taking opportunities with the Star Wars troops from Legion 501 (Singapore). Really great fun event! The kids were having fun and talking to their parents on the Star Wars toys. Great event kudos to the organisers and the National Library Board! Mrupupup had a very good Brunch session with DJs from Power 98FM & 88.3Jia. The location was at Cornerstone restaurant at Bishan Park. The event was fun and the food was very yummy. Mrupupup had a sweet tooth and would say the desserts were good. Anyway, Mrupupup had close up chit chats with the very cool DJs - Jamie Yeo, Sonja, Mister Young & Jacqui, Robin & Kai Ying from 88.3Jia (who sat at our table - very nice & happy & friendly DJs- I like them), 丽娜 (Lina) & 家铭 (Jia Ming) in very cool biker outfits. Mrupupup also had good conversations with good fellows in the same table and was impressed by one couple who brought their mascot lions! Roar! Mrupupup wished to be a DJ - haha such fun time interacting with people. Thanks to Sony Pictures SG. Got a short 30minutes peek into the new Spider Man 2 Movie in GV Vivocity. Pretty awesome movie Spider Man 2. OK, Mrupupup got only a short peek, hope to see more of the movie when it comes out on 1 May 2014. Ssshhhhssssh! Mrupupup cannot tell you more of the Spider Man 2 movie. Mrupupup was at the Singapore Jazz Festival 2014 held at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel Main Event area - March 2014. The event was great and the jazz music was smooth flowing. Loved the jazz music especially from Gregory Porter and his band. Mr Sato the saxophonist for Gregory Porter's jazz band earn more claps than Gregory Porter himself. Singapore Jazz Festival 2014 was the best with the backdrop of the beautiful city skyline, flow of drinks, people chilling to the music and the jazz was absolutely world class. Mrupupup felt like he was in some jazz bar in New York when Gregory Porter sang about Harlem. Great music and great jazz. Singapore music scene is going to be one of the best in Asia. Bring back the soul music to Singapore. Oh yeah !        

I Light 2014 Singapore will be held at the Marina Bay Waterfront area. There will be various interesting light installations and some are interactive. For example, like a 'mimosa' plant type of lighting which interacts upon contact. The organisers were briefing us today that I Light will be a very special light installation festival and the designers would come from many countries. Mrupupup is looking forward to the light installation from Chile - glowing and will be beautiful to remember lives lost in an earthquake. Mrupupup has been to the Sydney Light Festival, Kobe luminaire and Osaka Light Festival, but Singapore will be home ground for Mrupupup. Looking forward to the I Light Marina Bay! I Light Marina Bay - 7 to 30 March 2014 - Marina Bay Waterfront Area Singapore - Free Admission - 7.30pm to 11pm.                

Mrupupup had great fun attending the Countdown Party at Marina Bay Area Singapore. Countdown TV50 concert was held to celebrate TV's 50 years of Singapore Television. Mrupupup enjoyed the concert with special TV actors like Phua Chua Kang, Cast from City Beat, Under one Roof and great boy band "the Wanted" from United Kingdom and of course Superstar Mr Wang Lee Hom (the most popular singer that night)! Mediacorp held the 5 hour showcase of TV 'live' celebrations, going through the best moments of television in Singapore. Great event, Mediacorp! The Countdown TV50 at the Marina Bay platform also showcased the most exciting fireworks Mrupupup had seen in Singapore - very nice and visually stunning fireworks matched with nice background music. Mrupupup took photos of the fireworks and the ever colourful 'wishing' balls in the Marina Bay area. Nice pictures and video below. The first Purple Parade in Singapore was held at Hong Lim Park on 30 November 2013 to show support for people with disabilities. Super meaningful event with many charity organisations in Singapore coming together.
