Mrupupup totally enjoyed the latest Frankenweenie Cartoon Movie Cathay Orchard cinemas. This Disney film is a remake of Tim Burton's short film of the same name. Tim Burton is a creative genius and directed  Alice in Wonderland & The Nightmare Before Christmas  The movie is a heart warming story of how a young boy named Victor tried to revive his pet dog. Very nice story line and the cartoon is in 'black & white'. Well, Tim Burton's movies are 'dark' with creepy looking characters and scary monsters coming alive. Totally like Frankenweenie! Loved the dog too!  Spoiler alert: the beloved dog died once and subsequently would never die due to mother nature's powerful electrical spells.   Nice breath of fresh air that Tim Burton directed  Frankenweenie -  an ingenious claymation movie about little monsters .  The movie will be on from 15 November 2012 in Singapore, do catch the movie. What lengths will you go to keep your favourite pet by your side forever? Mrupupup would try several methods to keep my pet dog alive: 1. Save my pet dog's genes and try to create a 'duplicate' pet dog through gene therapy. 2. Be like the movie Frankenweenie and keep my dog alive through special forces and natural powers 3. The Perks of being a Wallflower is a very new movie. Mrupupup went to the preview of this movie at Shaw Cinema. This movie had a beautiful story line. Loved the acting by the stars and enjoyed the joy, sadness and vulnerability displayed in their acting. The story was set in the US about boy named Charlie who found friends like himself, a misfit in school. Charlie found a boy and a girl and they hang out together in their high school years till they graduate. The story tells us of the innocence in the teenage years, friendship and feelings of being "We are Infinite" when they were young. A beautiful story and Mrupupup enjoyed the movie. Loved the scene whereby Charlie and Sam would travel in the tunnel and stretch out their hands to reach the sky as their truck they were in sped pass along the highway. Judge Dredd is back and he is out to get rid of the bad guys in a futuristic city. Well, if you like violence and major gun shooting scenes, check out Judge Dredd the movie to be release on 20 September in Singapore. Mrupupup was fortunate to attend the Gala Premiere of Judge Dredd 3D movie at GV Vivocity Max cinema. The GV Max 3D cinema was huge and the 3D effects was not too bad. Enjoyed the movie for the action scenes. The 'spoiler' is the good cops (Judge Dredd and his partner) triumphed over the bad criminals and walked out of the building with minor injuries - predictable story plot. Well, Mrupupup's rating is 2 out of 5 popcorns.

MrUpUpUp went to the Dark Knight Rises Movie at GV Vivocity. The movie treat was from Domino's Pizza for being a loyal blogger. Thanks Domino's Pizza and also Omy Blog Club! The Dark Knight Rises movie was great and loved the nice story line with a couple of twists to the plot. Thanks to Domino's Pizza celebrating their successful pizza campaign with the Dark Knight movie, we also had special movie premiums like beautiful posters (catwoman poster very nice), limited edition Dark Knight glassses (special!) and stickers. Do check out Domino's Pizza and Mrupupup loves their pizza (suggestion: thin crusted chicken is the best. Yumsss).

Thanks to Nuffnang Singapore. Mrupupup attended the Premiere of Cartoon Movie Brave (by Pixar) at the Cathay Singapore. The Movie Premiere was an interesting event with Wii Archery games, a bagpiper playing music, mini tug of war and photo taking booth where one can take pictures with the Brave movie characters. The movie was pretty good for a cartoon and was great because Mrupupup got to view it in 3D. Yeah! Go watch Brave the movie as the story unfolds of a young princess trying to save the Scottish kingdom from a witch's evil spell. Mrupupup loved the story line, the Scottish music and interesting 3D effects. Check out the photos of the premiere and take note the movie will open on 8 August 2012 in Singapore.

Mrupupup - thinks the real life 'Heroine' in our global world would be the Lady Aung San Suu Kyi from Myammar. She is really brave to stand up for justice and democracy in Myammar despite her trials and tribulations. She has succeeded and been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by the global community. Hopefully, Myammar would do well as a country and the Lady Aung San Suu Kyi would continue to be the heroine for the people of Myammar. Written for Nuffnang Singapore. Wow! The Avengers Movie- Super Heroes were found in Nex Mall, Singapore. Iron Man, Thor, Green Goblin, the Hulk and Captain America were here in Singapore. Super cool and fun to see all the action figures of the Avengers Movie. I do not have much to say (speechless to see all the heroes), I just let you see the pictures of the Avengers Heroes. Well, got invited to a free preview movie screening of the 'Man on the Ledge'. It is a movie about 'literally' a man on the ledge. The ledge was on the Roosevelt Hotel in USA. Pretty good movie about a man (an ex-cop) trying hard to clear his name in a robbery case by trying to commit suicide from the ledge of the Roosevelt  Hotel. Love the movie for it had a good story line.  Nice! The movie will open in major cinemas on 1 March 2012 in Singapore.
