Mrupupup attended a team building session using Laser Quest. Wow, really fun to do shooting using infra red weapons. First time laser tagging people! Really fun hitting targets behind tall cushions and moving targets. Great way to build team bonding by working as team to accomplish the missions. The laser quest weapon was heavy and one needs to wear a 'tag' of red bulbs around the head. Once you got hit, the laser gun would announce "Man Down, Man Down!" If you hit somebody, the weapon would signal "Good Hit!"       One needs to hide behind large cushion 'boulders' & engage in the mission to overcome the other team. If possible, do wait patiently and don't get hit.     The Centre of Performance Transformation (CPT) team at NSRCC (located at Changi Coast Road) went through the safety rules for Laser Quest. Mrpupup was invited to cover the DBS Dragon Boat Marina Regatta 2013 held over the weekend at Marina Bay Area, Singapore. The international dragon boat racing event attracted a huge crowd in the Marina Bay area. Mrupupup liked this year's DBS Marina Regatta as the event had a Social Entreprise Carnival whereby people could buy gifts made by organisations helping the less fortunate. So proud of the Singapore Lions Soccer team. Today, the Lions team won Singapore the Asean Football Federation Soccer Championship 'AFF Suzuki Cup' in Bangkok. Singapore Lions created history by winning the AFF Suzuki Cup for the fourth time by beating Thailand on the aggregate score of 3-2. No other team in Asean has won the soccer championship for the 4th time. Go Singapore! Good job, Singapore Lions! Oh le le, oh la la la! We are the Champions!

Mrupupup got a chance to attend this weekend's $6 million Barclays Singapore Open Golf Championship at Sentosa Golf Club's Serapong Golf Course. For Mrupupup, it was the first time attending such a prestigious golf championship.  Big names like Adam Scott, Rory Mcllory (current World no.1 golf player) and Phil Mickelson were playing in the game. Mrupupup really was excited to see such a crowd following these great golf players. Mrupupup had a good time following the golf players in the expansive and beautiful Serapong Golf Course. Woohoo... Mrupupup took Soya Bean and Green Bean to the National Runway Cycling & Skating 2012 held in the Airforce Base at Paya Lebar Airport, Singapore. Soya Bean and Green Been (they are bicycles) had a good run of the airforce runway which was cleared for cyclists and skaters to do a 6km or a longer distance beyond 15km. Well, Mrupupup took Soya Bean & Green Bean (the bicycles) for a good 6km ride. Very fun event and where else in the world can we close an airforce runway just for cycling or skating. At the event, Mrupupup loved the sound of fast moving high end bicycles - woooooooo! Do check out the photos and see the fighting supersonic jets on display.

DBS Marina Regatta Dragon Boat 2012 held from 4-6 May 2012 in the Marina Bay Waterfront area, Singapore. The international Dragon Boat race event sponsored by DBS Bank attracted about 100 teams to compete in various races and many teams are from overseas countries like Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Brunei and Indonesia. The Indonesians are all out to win as seen by the way they trained in the waters. As Mrupupup was invited by DBS Bank marketing department (thanks DBS!), I had an exclusive chance to preview the event and take nice photos. I would thank also the URA Marina Bay staff for arranging the Joyride in a Dragon Boat right to the middle of Marina Bay Waterfront area (near to Marina Bay Sands). I got one video to show how 'hard' we amateurs paddle in the short joyride (about 200 metres). The joyride was fun and 'risky' because Mrupupup kind of worried Dragon Boat would capsize. Haha!
