Went to Zhu Hai (in China) and Macau. The two areas are close to each other. One can just walk across the immigration and you would reach the other side. Apparently, many Chinese just walk across to Macau from Zhu Hai to indugle in gambling in Macau. Do get ready to fill up many immigrations cards and have many chops on your passport if you like to travel both areas on the same day (which is possible). With the two territories so nearby, one can use Chinese Yuan, Hong Kong Dollar and Macau Patacas for their daily transactions. All the 3 currencies are equivalent in value to each other. You can use PutongHua (Mandarin), Portuguese, English or Cantonese (Chinese dialect) to speak to the locals there. There are at least 28 casinos in Macau from the grand outfit like Venetian Macau to the small gambling complex.
