Sushi Tei at Nex Mall always has a long line of people waiting outside. Mrupupup was not sure why Sushi Tei has many people waiting and so decided to try their food. Well, ate up their Japanese food served at Sushi Tei and totally enjoyed it. Mrupupup had Char Siew Noodle Soup Ramen, soft shell crab sushi roll, sashimi (raw fish) rice, croquette (Japanese potato), Squid (ika) grilled and green tea (to detox my body!). Pretty nice food and ate so much that Mrupupup was very full! The service at Sushi Tei at Nex Mall was fast and good. Nice Japanese food served. Enjoy the photos.

Lee Fun Nam Kee Soya Sauce Chicken is very famous in Toa Payoh. However, Mrupupup as a Food lover never visited this place. Well, last week I finally got to try the Lee Fun Nam Kee Soya Sauce Chicken. The place is located at Blk 94 Toa Payoh Lorong 4. The soya sauce chicken was great and the fragrant rice was wonderful. National Runway Cycling & Skating 2012

Image
Woohoo... Mrupupup took Soya Bean and Green Bean to the National Runway Cycling & Skating 2012 held in the Airforce Base at Paya Lebar Airport, Singapore. Soya Bean and Green Been (they are bicycles) had a good run of the airforce runway which was cleared for cyclists and skaters to do a 6km or a longer distance beyond 15km. Well, Mrupupup took Soya Bean & Green Bean (the bicycles) for a good 6km ride. Very fun event and where else in the world can we close an airforce runway just for cycling or skating. At the event, Mrupupup loved the sound of fast moving high end bicycles - woooooooo! Do check out the photos and see the fighting supersonic jets on display.

Brady Barr National Geographic TV Host At Singapore Zoo

Image
Mrupupup was invited to attend an event by Brady Barr the National Geographic TV host of the 'Wild Encounters'cable programme in Singapore Zoo. Mr Brady Barr was an interesting TV Host and loved listening to his stories of how he would capture crocodiles and snakes in all parts of the world. He also told us stories of his inventions like wearing a crocodile suit to get as close as possible to the crocodiles in Africa. The talk was fascinating and the Singapore Zoo brought out a crocodile and a large python to show off Brady Barr's handling skills with these dangerous creatures. Very good talk! Was fun!

Robert Timms Restaurant - Aussie Food

Image
Mrupupup just came back from Australia so wanting to try some Aussie food in Singapore. Mrupupup went to Robert Timms at Wheelock Place in Orchard Road. Wow, Robert Timms had 'Australian' type of food. The dinner time meal consists of kangaroo meat in special sauce, snapper fish fillet cooked in paper and soup, brownie with ice cream and a nice cup of coffee from Robert Timms. The food was very good! Kangaroo meat never tried it in Australia and the meat was very tender and nice. The snapper fish was very nice too and first time eating snapper fish cooked in paper. The best part was the 1 for 1 main course promotion held in conjunction with the Great Singapore Shopping Sale in Orchard Road which was a very good deal at Robert Timms. Check out the nice photos.... Yumzzz!

Sydney & Blue Mountains - Travel Log Day 2 of Australia

Image
Day 2 of Mrupupup's travel in Australia involved travelling to the Blue Mountains of Sydney Australia. The highlight of the trip was get to see the 'Three Sisters' rock formation in the Blue Mountains. The most memorable parts of this trip were seeing wild kangaroos in the bush land, ancient Aborigine markings (of Kangaroo animal) and beautiful rainbow over the Blue Mountains range. Too bad Mrupupup can only manage to squeeze a very short trip (3 days) to Australia. Thanks to Scoot Airlines for the complementary airline tickets. Check out the photos of Australia's Blue Mountains region. Aborigine markings on a rock : Three Sisters rock formation in a fog and Blue Mountains area:
