Singapore Quarry is located right inside Bukit Timah (near to the Bukit Timah Rail Mall). The place comes with a nice pond and it is a very serene place with beautiful granite stone walls. Occasionally, one can spot an eagle.
XO Durian Chee Cheong Fun (Rice Rolls steamed) first time I tried it. Pretty nice. Like eating durian. Quite expensive at $5.20 per plate. If you like durian in varied forms, go visit the House of Rice Rolls and Porridge along Killiney Road Singapore.
Had a meal at Ootoya Japanese Restaurant at Orchard Central Singapore. Nice food and got an authentic Japanese feel. Egg on top of a croquette, salad, chicken Pork with rice, miso soup, lotus root Quite popular during meal times
The is the Mid Autumn Festival season in Singapore where there are many places selling mooncakes (cakes shaped like the moon) and lanterns. The mooncakes has all shapes and sizes. Mooncakes good to eat, yummy!
H & M the much publicised Swedish fashion store has landed in Singapore. There were so many people in the store! The people inside were all trying stuff and lining up to pay for the clothes. The H & M has three levels and two levels are dedicated to ladies. I managed to buy one sunglass ($7.90) and five socks ($7.90). Pretty good pricing.
Well, seldom see TV stars in real life. Managed to see our local TV stars in Orchard Central - Fann Wong and Chen Libing. Think they were at Orchard Central for a flea market. Indoor Wall Climbing in Orchard Central Everybody wants a picture of Fann Wong!
Had a good run in the annual Safra run 2011 in Singapore. The annual run has excellent organisation and the army boys cheers add extra ooomph to the atmosphere. Enjoyed the run!
Lorong Halus Park Connector is a nice place. The place is getting so popular that parking a car can be a problem. Well, I guess the natural charm of a natural place has vanished. The once quiet place is taken over by the buzz of restaurants, flea market and many many people.
