Mrupupup went to the new mall Star Vista (next to Buona Vista MRT station) and discovered Triple O's Burger Joint (Star Vista , # 01-22 near to Gong Cha outlet). This burger store is from Canada and their burger comes with a special sauce. Mrupupup ate their 'Breakfast' Combo Burger (about $6-$7) although it was lunch time and totally enjoyed the burger. The burger set comes with a drink and hashbrown and the burger was great. Why great? It was filled with lots of bacons and egg on top of a hashbrown base. Wow, super nice and Mrupupup is going back to try the rest of the Triple O's burgers . Yummy and very fulfilling lunch!

NTUC Foodfare recently opened its new food court at the Marina Bay Financial Centre Level 2 Tower 3. Well, went to check out the NTUC Foodfare opening night. Mrupupup enjoyed the evening with Masala Comedy Club providing stand up comedy for the evening. It was great fun and enjoyed the localised jokes from the Singaporean stand up comedians. First time in a food court enjoying my dinner and listening to stand up comedy. Well, the food court has about 14 stalls serving Western and Asian dishes. Mrupupup had the Asian Hor Fun noodle dish which was quite good and the portion was big but the price $5-6 was not value for money.  Loved the stand up comedy! Hahaha!

Rocky's Pizza at Sunset Way (Clementi Street 12 #01-60) is a long time pizza store in Singapore. Mrupupup visited Rocky's Pizza during lunch time for their very nice oven baked pizza. The group had two huge 16 inch pizzas filled with pepperoni, mushroom and cheese. The nice taste and aroma of Rocky's Pizza comes from their pizza dough base. Mrupupup also viewed the chef at work making the pizza. Just loved freshly made hot pizza (about $20-$30 for16 inch)! Do visit the Rocky's Pizza during weekday lunch hours for it is quite quiet which is good place to hangout and have a nice pizza day!

Poulet means 'chicken' in French. Well, Poulet located at Bugis plus (+) Mall (level 4) is relatively new and serves very nice French food. Their wonderful signature roast chicken ( about $15) was very good and Mrupupup loved the sauce made which had a tinge of chardonnay wine.We even asked for extra sauce for the big piece of half chicken. Mrupupup also had oxtail and was cooked till the oxtail meat (about $15) just slips off from the bones, very very nice and tender. The oxtail had a nice sauce which comes with a tinge of chardonnay wine. Poulet is an excellent place for French fare and in Mrupupup's opinion the place is worth it and good value for money. Mrupupup had Poulet's sausages as starter (very good and juicy sausages!) and mushroom soup done very well. Overall, Mrpupup had a great meal at Poulet. Do take note the queue can be quite long at Poulet. Enjoy! Bon Jour! Tres bien!

Tiong Bahru Bakery is a very popular new bakery in of course Tiong Bahru estate (along Eng Hoon Street)! Tiong Bahru Bakery is branded as 'French Bakery' of the East. Well, judging by the crowd at this bakery it sure is a popular bakery. The bakery serves many types of breads, coffee, sandwiches, pastries and jams. Tiong Bahru Bakery is a very hip place with the 'in' crowd. The bakery was so crowded on a weekend afternoon that Mrupupup just ordered take away for the bread - a chocolate croissant (pretty good!). Ok, do take note the breads are not cheap (minimum $2 per bread). Mrpupup will be back some day at this outlet or their new outlet in Raffles City basement 1 to try out the rest of the french style breads and have a cup of coffee. Bon Jour! Tres Bien!

Mrupupup enjoyed a day of games today. Yeah. It was fun. The game was social mahjong. Do you know mahjong? Mahjong the enjoyable game played by Chinese Asians involving tiles of game cards and trying to form patterns to win a game. Mahjong can be really addictive. Well, Mrupupup just play for fun. The mahjong game played was against very experienced mahjong players. Mrupupup was just happy to win one game. Totally enjoyable. Mahjong challenges the mind and maybe just maybe delays the decline of mind power.

Judge Dredd is back and he is out to get rid of the bad guys in a futuristic city. Well, if you like violence and major gun shooting scenes, check out Judge Dredd the movie to be release on 20 September in Singapore. Mrupupup was fortunate to attend the Gala Premiere of Judge Dredd 3D movie at GV Vivocity Max cinema. The GV Max 3D cinema was huge and the 3D effects was not too bad. Enjoyed the movie for the action scenes. The 'spoiler' is the good cops (Judge Dredd and his partner) triumphed over the bad criminals and walked out of the building with minor injuries - predictable story plot. Well, Mrupupup's rating is 2 out of 5 popcorns.
