A-One Claypot House was a very nice experience for those who loved to eat porridge. Mrupupup ordered their porridge filled with shellfish and fish maw. It was simply yummy porridge! Mrupupup enjoyed the taste of the porridge, seems to taste like those yummy porridge one can eat in Hong Kong. Mrupupup  also ordered their claypot chicken rice which was also delicious with lots of ingredients like chicken, chinese sausage, chestnut, mushroom, vegetables and salted fish. If one wants hot food, do try A-One porridge and claypot rice. Mrupupup went to the A-One Outlet at Nex Mall #B1-73/74 near to the Japanese food street corner. The porridge was pricy at around $12-$13 because of the fish maw and shell fish ingredients, while the claypot rice was relatively cheaper at around $8.90. Yeah! Victoria Concert Hall Singapore has re-opened in July 2014. Mrupupup went for a visit of Victoria Concert Hall after its four years renovations. It was a special day because Mrupupup got to go up to the Concert Hall's many "decades old" Clock Tower. This was a very special treat to visit the inside of the clock tower and see the old clock chiming its way in Singapore's short history. Mrupupup went on a tour of the renovated Victoria Concert Hall and saw the beautiful old building came alive. Mrupupup loved the chimes of the clock tower. Mrupupup checked out Starbucks Singapore's 100th store at Fullerton Waterboat House at 3 Fullerton Road second floor. Mrupupup must say this is the most spacious and beautiful Starbucks store in Singapore (just opened in February 2014). With its wonderful location overlooking the Singapore River, the coffee place was a very nice experience for coffee lovers who just want to chill and relax. Mrupupup loved the store was designed with many photos of old Singapore, especially remembering the history of the Fullerton Waterboat House. This store is also unique because it hired people with special needs (very good!). Ok, Mocha Frappuccino please, make it a Venti size please! Mrupupup just want to chill out!        

Mrupupup saw a Lamborghini Aventador car - nice blue colour - along Millenia Walk. Every time walk along Millenia Walk, you would surely find a nice Lamborghini sports car park there. Ok, one can just enjoy the view of the car, just like the people walking pass it. Mrupupup loved the blue colour, think it is one of the kind here in Singapore.

Psst... You want discounted bread and pastries.... One can go to the Marks and Spencer Food Hall and get their very yummy breads and pastries at 50% discount. The discount would happen between 8.30pm to 9pm daily (timing varies from store to store). Well, Mrupupup went to the Marks and Spencer Food Hall in Vivocity and found there were discounts for their shortbreads, biscuits, pastries, bagels and nice savoury food items at 50% off. Food items costs between $1.70 to $3.70 (before 50% discount) and need to buy two items. Value for money and the pastries are nice. Loved their biscuits and pastries! A money saving tip from Mrupupup.             

Paik's Bibimbap is a fast food type of Korean Bistro that serves up Korea's famous Bibimbap and warm noodles "Korean style". Mrupupup went to the Paik's Bibimbap store located on the second floor of Vivocity #02-125. Bibimbap is a traditional rice dish which one would mix it up with beef or chicken slices (you can choose), lots of vegetables and egg in a very large bowl. Pretty nice Paik's Bibimbap (about $8.50), do try with their spicy Korean sauce. Mrupupup felt like eating their Korean warm noodles ($7.90) which was very nice. The noodles was soft, came with vegetables, nuts, seaweed and minced meat. Mrupupup noticed a lot of ladies in the store eating the warm noodles dish. Mrupupup enjoyed the unique Korean taste in the warm noodles. Stay healthy, don't eat so much Western fast food, try some simple Asian fast food. Warm Noodles     Bibimbap Rice Dish                

Mrupupup had very nice meal of smashed fried chicken and fried catfish at the Ayam Penyet Ria - Far East Plaza Singapore #05-22, 14 Scotts Road. The fried chicken was so crispy and yummy. The fried catfish was a new item for Mrupupup. The catfish was interesting food but do watch out for the fish bones. Mrupupup also had a sweet chendol drink. Mrupupup felt like the place was in Indonesia. Mrupupup loved the food! The meal costs in total about $230- $25 for the mentioned dishes and came with rice and hot hot chilli sauce (spicy!!!). Hellooosss. Nando's has opened at Nex Mall Basement 1 near to Yoshinoya's outlet. Mrupupup enjoyed a delicious evening of Nando's chicken with their hot sauces. The below dish costs about $12- $15 and came with large corn and salad as side dishes.     Mrupupup also had chicken with rice and potato wedges which was crispy nice!        Ok, Mrupupup loves to eat and had another Nando's chicken with healthy vegetables.      Mrupupup tried out all their sauces: mild hot, extra hot, tomato, garlic hot, peri peri hot. Wow, the extra hot means hot and spicy. Ok, the best thing was Nando's butterfly cut flame grilled Peri Peri chicken drum stick- well roasted, marinated, juicy and tender.   Mrupupup went to the Nando's outlet at Nex mall and the place was hot with many people. Be prepared for a noisy dinner with lots of laughter with many groups of people in Nando's. Oh, enjoy Nando's.
