Tontei Pork Restaurant - A Happy Meal

Yaoz! Went to this Tontei Pork Restaurant - Nex Mall @ Japanese Food Hall, Basement 1. Well, it was a happy meal of pork dishes. Had a big set with udon noodles, salad, steamed egg japanese style, slices of pork to dip into soup - 'shabu shabu' style, oden soup, orange slices, dessert of ice cream, tonkatsu oysters and tonkatsu pork.  Got a nice interior deco for this place. Arigato! Yums!

Baker Talent - Very new bakery!

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

The Bird Southern Table and Bar at Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Mrupupup had a chance to try the US outlet with 100- year old recipes for their fried chicken dishes ( tried one with watermelon and waffles!). The Bird Southern Table and Bar signature outlet is located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Singapore-10 Bayfront Avenue #B1-01. Mrupupup tried out various dishes: salad with mango, fried chicken (must try), pork belly, devil's egg, mud pie dessert with coffee, banana pudding and Mac and Cheese. Mrupupup was so full eating all the dishes!!! Very yummy dishes and very american style restaurant with good service. Prices range from $16 for desserts to $45 for fried chicken. Mrupupup saw many families coming in to eat up fried chicken! Yummy chicken not sure how come pair with watermelon and waffles (and comes with alcohol bourbon waffle sauce!) Pretty interesting food! Yummss!
