HTC & Starhub Workshop @ Shuffle Bistro Clarke Quay

HTC mobile phone and Starhub organised a workshop to get people to try out their HTC phones in Shuffle bistro located in Clarke Quay. The event was great and leant much about HTC phone. The band 53A was playing and introducing the HTC phone's functions. Think the HTC phone got great music functions. Learnt much about HTC and had a fabulous time. We also had finger food platter with items like sushi, mini cakes, kebabs and had Kronenburg 1664 beer (very smooth and nice tasting beer). Check out the photos below. Baker Talent - Very new bakery!

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

The Bird Southern Table and Bar at Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Mrupupup had a chance to try the US outlet with 100- year old recipes for their fried chicken dishes ( tried one with watermelon and waffles!). The Bird Southern Table and Bar signature outlet is located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Singapore-10 Bayfront Avenue #B1-01. Mrupupup tried out various dishes: salad with mango, fried chicken (must try), pork belly, devil's egg, mud pie dessert with coffee, banana pudding and Mac and Cheese. Mrupupup was so full eating all the dishes!!! Very yummy dishes and very american style restaurant with good service. Prices range from $16 for desserts to $45 for fried chicken. Mrupupup saw many families coming in to eat up fried chicken! Yummy chicken not sure how come pair with watermelon and waffles (and comes with alcohol bourbon waffle sauce!) Pretty interesting food! Yummss!
