Kite Festival Singapore 2012

Up and away, the beautiful kites flying high up in the sky. Mrupupup attended the Kite Festival 2012 Singapore held over the weekend along the Marina Bay Area. Mrupupup loves kites. The Kite Festival was fun and had many families coming to the Marina Bay to fly kites, listened to musicians, watch buskers performed and soaked up the 'carefree' atmosphere. The Kite Festival 2012 organised by NTUC Income and Act 3 International also brought kite masters from various countries like South Korea, Malaysia and Pakistan to teach participants how to make traditional kites from these countries. The kite workshops were very interesting and Mrupupup managed to make a kite. Kite Festival was fun! Check out the photographs below.

Baker Talent - Very new bakery!

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

Trip to Seoul - Incheon Airport food court

Mrupupup went to Seoul, South Korea. It was a great trip. I loved Seoul after since the K-wave swept through our TV screens. Many things to see in South Korea. Here goes the trip day 1. Landed in Seoul transit via Kuala Lumpur. The airport in Seoul is pretty clean place. You can check out the eating place 'Food on Air' that serves decent Korean food at good prices. Go to the basement level of the arrival hall of the airport. The basement food court of Incheon Airport served a nice set of dumplings and bibimbap for late breakfast or lunch. Pretty nice and hot food after a long flight.
