Taste Paradise at Ion Orchard Singapore

Taste Paradise is one traditional Chinese restaurant that serves very nice 'xiao long bao'. Mrupupup enjoyed Chinese dishes and loved to come to Taste Paradise at Level 4 Ion Orchard Singapore. Mrupupup ordered the signature pork noodles in soup, Zha Jiang mee (spicy noodles) and of course their 'xiao long bao'. The xiao long bao is a small dumpling 'handmade' and with pork & soup in the dumpling. The xiao long bao is one delicate food item and do handle with care so as not to break the skin of the dumpling too early. The pork noodles with pork slices and an egg was very nice and Mrupupup finished the whole bowl! The pork soup was nicely done and loved the handmade noodles. The zha jiang mee was a bit spicy for Mrupupup. Mrupupup finished the meal with a traditional dessert with jelly bits in it which was a nice way to round off a meal. Xiao Long Bao (about $7 for 6), Pork Noodles ($10.80) and Zha Jiang Mee ($9.80) plus Jelly dessert ($3.80). Do take note the restaurant would need to wait for seats if you have a large group.

Baker Talent - Very new bakery!

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

Trip to Seoul - Incheon Airport food court

Mrupupup went to Seoul, South Korea. It was a great trip. I loved Seoul after since the K-wave swept through our TV screens. Many things to see in South Korea. Here goes the trip day 1. Landed in Seoul transit via Kuala Lumpur. The airport in Seoul is pretty clean place. You can check out the eating place 'Food on Air' that serves decent Korean food at good prices. Go to the basement level of the arrival hall of the airport. The basement food court of Incheon Airport served a nice set of dumplings and bibimbap for late breakfast or lunch. Pretty nice and hot food after a long flight.
