Ambush at Plaza Singapore

Ambush is a restaurant that serves pretty nice Europrean food. Ambush is located at Plaza Singapore #03-14 (at the new wing), Singapore. Mrupupup missed European food from countries like France and Belgium. Ambush restaurant's food dishes reminded Mrupupup of Europe. Sighzzzz...... Mrupupup thought of the days travelling through Europe. Mrupupup ordered escargots (snails) (about $7), pots of mussels ($15) with thick french fries (so like Saint Malo in France) and sausage platter with rostii (about $14). Totally satisfying meal! The sausages were great and came in three flavours - mushroom, pork and chicken. The mussels in a pot was so similar in style as the one Mrupupup ate in a village restaurant in Saint Malo. Mrupupup 'cleaned' up all the mussels and the white sauce that came with it. The escargots were nice in olive oil too. Mrupupup really enjoyed the yummy meal.

Mrupupup spotted a new bakery in the Serangoon Central area (Singapore). Baker Talent Bakery is located in Blk 261 Serangoon Central and bakes a certain type of bread with butter or blueberry in the middle. When Mrupupup order the breads, the taste was nice and soft. The breads are on promotion now, where got bread in Singapore sell for 60 cents, very cheap. Baker Talent also has many new flavours - peanut, tuna, custard, custard egg (very nice when eaten hot!), polo bread. etc. The Bakers are talented to make nice and cheap bread.

The small shop space sells tons of snacks at good prices. If you are crazy over Japanese imported snack, local snacks, gummies or polo mints sweets, you can try One Huat Trading for their great variety of snacks. The shop sells many versions of Japanese Pocky boxes (those long biscuits coated with matcha or chocolate sauce). Have a look at the variety of snacks - pictures taken below.
