Haze in Singapore June 2013

The month of June & July 2013 was the dry season in Southeast Asia region. With the burning of farmland in Indonesia (Sumatra), Singapore faced a haze that was very high in the PSI Index of between 100-380. The PSI index was recorded at the highest of 371 in June 2013. The air was choking and the smell was bad. Mrupupup faced uncomfortable days out in the open. One could walk a few steps and would be hit by the bad air which caused eyes to tear and choking cough to occur occasionally. Hope the rains come to Singapore to cool the air and bring relief.
