Scoot Airline Very First Flight - 4 June 2012 (Singapore to Sydney)

Mrupupup was very fortunate to attend Scoot Airline's very first flight in operation on 4 June 2012. The flight was the very first and was from Singapore to Sydney, Australia. Mrupupup had complementary tickets on board their 'FlyBagEat' tier - a flight to Sydney on economy seats, 15kg luggage and a meal & drink on board. Scoot is a budget airline is which owned by Singapore Airlines and is using Boeing 777 to fly long hauls flight on budget rates. Going to Sydney from Singapore can be as low as $158 per person (with only cabin luggage). Well, as with most budget airlines things like food, drinks and blankets are chargable. For Scoot, they have on rental Ipads for your use if you are bored on flights lasting 6-8 hours (costs $22). Scoot is value for money for long haul flights to places like Sydney or Gold Coast if one is on a tight budget. Foldable bicycles were cheap in Carrefour Singapore. We obtained two foldable bicycles each at low prices ($99). These bikes comes with Shimano gears and weighs 16kg each. The new bicycles are called 'Soya Bean' and 'Green Bean'. Will have fun riding all over Singapore on Soya Bean and Green Bean! Toyogo Factory Outlet @ Toa Payoh - Save money

Mrupupup got an eye opener today by visiting the huge Toyogo factory outlet in Toa Payoh Industrial Park (Toa Payoh Lorong 8). The place is open daily from 10am to 7pm. Toyogo factory outlet sells all sorts of stuff: soap boxes, car accessories, plastic containers big and small, kitchen utensils, pots, pans and many household products.
