Dignity Kitchen is a food court with a purpose and it is different. The purpose of Dignity Kitchen is to train the disabled persons, disadvantaged and elderly so that they can get a job and be independent. Dignity Kitchen is a social entreprise food court located at Techview, 1 Kaki Bukit View, next to Bedok North Secondary School and was set up in 2010. The food court serves all sorts of food: Indian, Western, Malay, Chinese and various snacks stores. Mrupupup was very impressed by Mr Koh Seng Choon, the person behind Dignity Kitchen. He personally set up this food court cum hawker training school without any sponsorship grants, to help the disadvantaged persons in Singapore's society to receive training and get a job. He really got guts and determination to succeed and overcame all the odds, as there is no where else in the world that has this type of facility to help the disadvantaged.
