Chocolate Origin - Chocolate Cakes!

Image
Oooomm. Loved chocolate cake! Went to this Chocolate Origin shop at basement food hall of 313@ Sommerset to buy their 'bitter' dark chocolate cake for A's birthday. Very nice cake, especially those chocolate lovers who like the bitter chocolate taste. Think their presentation is clean and neat for a chocolate cake shop. The shop also sells the original chocolate flavour cake (less bitter) and their smaller lava cake. Chocolate Origin has one other outlet in Changi Village. The Shop @ 313 Sommerset Original or Dark? Peek at the bitter chocolate cake Nice cake - Yums

Lower Pierce Reservoir Park

Image
Lower Pierce Reservoir Park, which is located in the Thomson area, is a nice and peaceful park. Took a stroll along the trail and recorded images of people, animals and activities in the park. Love coming to this park because it is really serene, and one can find very interesting wildlife in the secondary forest and broadwalk areas. Do take a walk and do not feed the monkeys! Loved to go to a shop located in Casuarina Road (Singapore) named 'Biscuit King'. As the shop name implies, it sells all sorts of 'old style' biscuits. Chiew Kee Soya Sauce Chicken Noodles

Had a nice plate of soya sauce chicken noodles at Chiew Kee chicken noodle house in Upper Cross Street. We also had a bowl of dumpling soup. Chicken noodles & dumplings were very nice, not expensive and loved the traditional feel of this coffeeshop. The chicken noodle shop is near to Chinatown Point, Singapore.

Duran Duran Singapore Concert

Image
Thanks to Courts Singapore, this blogger here attended the one night only Duran Duran Singapore concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium. The concert was super good! The British boy band played evergreen favourites songs like James Bond movie's 'A view to a kill', 'The Reflex' and 'No ordinary world'. The crowd in the Indoor Stadium totally enjoyed the experience. Awesome concert and we had excellent maroon seats with a good view.         Well, Duran Duran is on a worldwide tour, hope they will stop over in your country. The 4 Duran Duran boys - Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor - showed the crowd why they are still the best during this world concert tour promoting their latest album, All You Need Is Now. Star Gazing @ The Observatory

Image
On every Friday between 8pm-10pm in the Singapore Science Centre, the Observatory would be open for the public to gaze at stars and planets in the sky. The Obervatory is a big telescope and it would open out to the sky to see planets in our solar system. There would be other types of telescopes, albeit smaller ones, which help to see the stars and moon up close. The stars would look like tiny diamonds on the telescope. Do try and visit the Science Centre for a star gazing experience.

Careshop de Cafe

Image
There is a new eating place named Careshop de Cafe which is located at 70 Bendemeer Road, Luzerne Building, which also has an 'Audio House' outlet there. The place is a really quiet and you can have a meal during the weekday evenings with minimal disturbances. We went there as a group of 4 and in the cafe there was only one other couple having a meal with white wine. We had baked rice pastas, spicy ramen bowl and japanese bento rice. I like the eating place's decorations which makes the cafe look happy.
