Alive Museum in Singapore

Image
Alive Museum is Singapore’s latest fun destination. Alive Museum is for all ages, especially fun for kids. Mrupupup recently visited the Alive Museum which help to present the concept of art into entertainment. The Alive Museum covers over 10,000 square feet with more than 80 artworks brought vibrantly alive with 3D painting, shading and drawing techniques that create visual illusions. Visitors will not only be able to experience magical ideas in reality by touching and watching objects, they will be part of the masterpiece, especially the Marilyn Monroe piece. So no need to go Jeju Island (in South Korea) to experience the Alive Museum. Mrupupup had been to the Jeju's outlet of Alive Museum before felt it was similar to the Alive Museum in Suntec City Mall. Mrupupup's experience of Alive Museum was fun and interesting. Mrupupup loved the ET movie art piece, Marilyn Monroe interactive art piece, Nelson Mendela 'jumping' art and many more. Approximate Duration of

PS Cafe at Harding Road Dempsey Hill area

Image
Mrupupup heard a lot of this PS Café. Well, the wait was over when Mrupupup went to check out the food at PS Café 28B Harding Road (Singapore 249549) located in the Dempsey Hill area. The food at PS café was yummy and delicious. The portions were huge and the desserts were monstrous! The additional point for PS Café was the wonderful location right smack in the middle of wooded Dempsey area where one could see clearly a squirrel on a tree branch in the afternoon. Very nice ambience for a good meal at PS Café! Mrupupup had yummy lasagne (with lots of vegetables- interesting dish), ribs (very good), prawn pasta, truffles french fries, fish and chips. Mrupupup also had ultimate fudge brownie with marshmallow inside and golden banana butterscotch cake!!!! Super shiok and awesome! Mrupupup felt that PS Café really had all the right ingredients for a good café but good food comes with high prices.  All the portions are good to be shared with friends. The mains like pastas, fish and chips

Ben & Jerry's Sundae the Core Singapore Flavours #coresg

Image
Mrupupup went to check out the new Ben & Jerry's core flavours within a sundae at the Vivocity Singapore outlet. The core flavours are banana brownie or triple phish. Mrupupup tried out the new core flavour of triple phish (tasted a lot like caramel fudge) within scoops of chunky monkey and chocolate brownie. Wow, the core really made the ice cream sundae super awesome. It was yummy to the max. Mrupupup getting fatter with this 'core' flavours within the Ben & Jerry's sundae. Dig into the CORE! See the core- dig into the core     See me the CORE   Can add toppings like nuts       #coresg     Dig into the core with this spoon!

Monster Curry at Nex Huge Monster Japanese Curry

Image
Mrupupup went to the newly opened Monster Curry (Japanese) store at Nex #B1-08. Mrupupup ordered the huge (very, very big plate) of Sea Monster curry. Why Sea Monster? Because the huge plate came with rice, lots of hot Japanese curry sauce with 4 prawns tempura style, two scallops and one large fried fish fillet. The signature, dark curry was delicious and spicy. The Monster Curry dish was so big that two persons actually struggled to finish up the curry dish. Well, with big plate means big price of $25 (without GST hor!) - actual was $28.25. Ok, Mrupupup's advice try to get three persons or more if you want to order the HUGE plate curry sauce dish. Monster Curry outlet was popular during meals times. Be prepared to wait for huge groups of people. Besides Sea Monster, there are other types of curry dishes with pork, chicken or seafood. One could choose the cheaper versions around $12 if only one person dines at Monster Curry. Burp! Think too much curry sauce!

A-ONE Claypot House at Nex - yummy porridge and claypot rice

Image
A-One Claypot House was a very nice experience for those who loved to eat porridge. Mrupupup ordered their porridge filled with shellfish and fish maw. It was simply yummy porridge! Mrupupup enjoyed the taste of the porridge, seems to taste like those yummy porridge one can eat in Hong Kong. Mrupupup  also ordered their claypot chicken rice which was also delicious with lots of ingredients like chicken, chinese sausage, chestnut, mushroom, vegetables and salted fish. If one wants hot food, do try A-One porridge and claypot rice. Mrupupup went to the A-One Outlet at Nex Mall #B1-73/74 near to the Japanese food street corner. The porridge was pricy at around $12-$13 because of the fish maw and shell fish ingredients, while the claypot rice was relatively cheaper at around $8.90. Well, as their name says it, the food was A1 indeed! Lots of fish maw and shellfish   Yummy chicken claypot rice
