Mrupupup invited to fly for free on Scoot's very first flight. Scoot is a new budget airline based in Singapore and owned by Singapore Airlines. The very first flight on Scoot will be from Singapore to Sydney, Australia! Hope to cover more in this blog when I get on the Scoot plane. Moreover, Mrupupup will be flying with Singapore's favourite TV channel 5's Noose Team, will be a happy bunch of people on board Scoot's maiden flight. Wait for more updates on Scoot Airline and Sydney! Sydney Opera House here I come! Lalalala! Scoot's tagline : Get Outta Here!

Kartini Indonesian Restaurant at Parkway Parade (Marine Parade) serves very nice Indonesian food. The Beef Redang was 'sinful' but very nice, spicy, tender and tasty with rice. The bergerdil ( mashed potato balls), chicken wings and the chicken soup were great too! Kartini serves unlimited portions of white rice to go with your dishes. The staff were good with their service. After eating at Kartini, Mrupupup felt very 'full'. Yumzzz. The pictures are a bit 'orangey' because the restaurant has an orange deco. Burp! Ukulele Movement is a shop thats sells.......... Ukulele! Ukulele is a small 'guitar' with 4 strings. There is a shop in Kampong Bugis Road (Kallang Rivergreen Building Level 5, at former Kallang Gasworks area and near to Lavender MRT station) that sells all sorts of ukulele - pineapple shape, kiwi design, sky blue and many more ukuleles. Ukulele is a fun instrument. If Mrupupup practises more, can put up a Youtube video on ukulele (haha.... long way to go). Check out the photos, people seem to have fun with ukulele. Mrupupup by default will only visit one store at the Kopitiam foodcourt at the Plaza Singapore, that would be Riverside Indonesian BBQ. Not sure why, mrupupup does not mind lining up for the food at this store. Maybe it is the curry sauce or the BBQ taste or the chilli or the rice which makes the food appealing to the masses. The store always has a long queue. Well, we had for dinner curry chicken rice (big piece of thigh chicken) and BBQ squid (love their BBQ sauce). Curry Chicken BBQ Squid 

Mrupupup loves to eat and a great fan of food courts/ hawkers. Well, there is a foodcourt dining concept at the Singapore Food Trail @ Singapore Flyer. The food area at the iconic Singapore Flyer brings back the nostalgic feel of the 1960s. There are many famous food stores at Singapore Food Trail and the place was packed on a Sunday. Mrupupup had oyster omelete (nice), Char Kway Teow ( fried noodles with black sauce) and cups of bird's nest drink (very expensive drink at $2.50). The price at Singapore Food Trail are not cheap, but reasonable since there are no other eating places that provide so many choices like sambal stingray, satay, pork noodles, hokkien mee (long queue!!! never get to try), BBQ seafood, carrot cake and even an Indian store that sells the traditional 'Kacang Puteh' nuts snack. Admiralty Park is in the northern part of Singapore (next to Republic Poly in Woodlands). The park combines an urban park and nature park with a rich biodiversity of life. There is a 2 km trail where you can spot birds, monkeys, dragonflies and insects. At the end of the trail, there is a Sakura buffet restaurant. This park is quite quiet and people use the place for a jog or ride a bicycle through the trail. Foldable bicycles were cheap in Carrefour Singapore. We obtained two foldable bicycles each at low prices ($99). These bikes comes with Shimano gears and weighs 16kg each. The new bicycles are called 'Soya Bean' and 'Green Bean'. Will have fun riding all over Singapore on Soya Bean and Green Bean! HTC mobile phone and Starhub organised a workshop to get people to try out their HTC phones in Shuffle bistro located in Clarke Quay. The event was great and leant much about HTC phone. The band 53A was playing and introducing the HTC phone's functions. Think the HTC phone got great music functions. Learnt much about HTC and had a fabulous time. We also had finger food platter with items like sushi, mini cakes, kebabs and had Kronenburg 1664 beer (very smooth and nice tasting beer). Check out the photos below. Thanks HTC, Starhub & Shuffle !
