United Neighbours Society Mediacorp TV Filming with Quan Yi Feng权怡凤 & Guo Liang郭亮

Image
United Neighbours Society filming was done in the housing estate and Mrupupup happened to be around to take some photos and one video of their filming. The United Neighbours Society is a variety programme by Singapore's Mediacorp channel and helmed by the two TV hosts Quan YiFeng 权怡凤 and Guo Liang 郭亮. The whole TV show was taped in the housing estate and they spent the whole day at this housing estate just to paint two mock up durians! Wow! Anyway, just take a look at the celebrity hosts Quan Yi Feng权怡凤 and GuoLiang 郭亮, they are two hard working TV hosts trying very hard with their teams to win with their creation of the mock up durians. Very interesting to watch them produce a variety TV show in the middle of a HDB housing estate. Also got one picture of Chew Chor Meng 周初明 in the vicinity. A video

Brady Barr National Geographic TV Host At Singapore Zoo

Mrupupup was invited to attend an event by Brady Barr the National Geographic TV host of the 'Wild Encounters'cable programme in Singapore Zoo. Mr Brady Barr was an interesting TV Host and loved listening to his stories of how he would capture crocodiles and snakes in all parts of the world. He also told us stories of his inventions like wearing a crocodile suit to get as close as possible to the crocodiles in Africa. The talk was fascinating and the Singapore Zoo brought out a crocodile and a large python to show off Brady Barr's handling skills with these dangerous creatures. Very good talk! Was fun!

Mrupupup had complementary tickets on board their 'FlyBagEat' tier - a flight to Sydney on economy seats, 15kg luggage and a meal & drink on board. Scoot is a budget airline is which owned by Singapore Airlines and is using Boeing 777 to fly long hauls flight on budget rates. Going to Sydney from Singapore can be as low as $158 per person (with only cabin luggage). Well, as with most budget airlines things like food, drinks and blankets are chargable. For Scoot, they have on rental Ipads for your use if you are bored on flights lasting 6-8 hours (costs $22). Scoot is value for money for long haul flights to places like Sydney or Gold Coast if one is on a tight budget. Budget airlines like Scoot do have its contraints like no tv to watch and no drinks or food like normal airlines. The inaugural (

Thanks to Courts Singapore, this blogger here attended the one night only Duran Duran Singapore concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium. The concert was super good! The British boy band played evergreen favourites songs like James Bond movie's 'A view to a kill', 'The Reflex' and 'No ordinary world'. The crowd in the Indoor Stadium totally enjoyed the experience. Awesome concert and we had excellent maroon seats with a good view.         Well, Duran Duran is on a worldwide tour, hope they will stop over in your country. The 4 Duran Duran boys - Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor - showed the crowd why they are still the best during this world concert tour promoting their latest album, All You Need Is Now.
